The philosophy of the school

Druzhba School implements 3 educational programs:

• the author's Russian educational program on the Federal State Educational Standard with in-depth study of the Chinese language, history, culture, and traditions of the Chinese people;
• international educational program with instruction in Chinese and advanced study of the Russian language;
• An international educational program with English language instruction and advanced study of the Russian language.

The mission is to create an educational space for students that promotes the upbringing of an inquisitive, intelligent, caring person with an active civic and life position who strives to develop a safe world, interethnic communication and intercultural interaction.

The goal is to create conditions for the development and realization of intellectual capabilities, creative abilities of children, self–determination and self-expression of each child's personality.

Advantages

Immersion in the language environment

Learning Chinese with native speakers, as well as the history, traditions and culture of the Chinese people at all stages of learning. Additional study of the English language.

Small classes

The small number of students in each class (the smallest class has three students and the largest class has nine students) allows for individualised lessons and the most effective way to complete the educational programme.

Extended day groups

For primary school children until 19:00.

Comprehensive service

Pupils from Years 5 to 9 at School "Дружба" complete their homework in school with subject teachers. Time is allocated for this purpose. Afterwards, they attend additional Chinese lessons. The older students in Years 8 and 9 prepare for the OGE by studying the subjects they have chosen to take as exams. We also organise joint trips to the theatre, museums, exhibitions and outings. We also hold masterclasses in Chinese and Russian cuisine.

Different approach to different ages

For children 5-7 years old, we organize a program to prepare for first grade education. Pre-university programs are available for children aged 16-18 years to choose from. Get a “ticket” to universities in China without entrance exams!

Author's Russian program according to FSES with advanced study of Chinese language includes pre-school from 5-7 years old, elementary school from 7 to 11 years old, basic school from 11 to 16 years old and high school from 16 to 18 years old.

Russian edicational program – Russian as a Foreign Language

Russian edicational program – Russian as a Foreign Language – an original curriculum for preparing students to pass the Russian as a Foreign Language exam in grades 1 through 11 in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard (FSES), for children who have come from China and other countries. Classes are held daily from Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week, and also reinforce communication skills in live conversational speech with peers during lessons and outside regular class hours.

Chinese language course

The course is aimed at 3 age groups: 5-6 years old, 7-10 and 11-16 years old. We teach from basic words and pronunciation to passing the Unified State Exam in Chinese.
